Rosslyn Chapel Day Tour

On our Rosslyn Chapel day tour we start off with a morning panoramic of Scotlands Capital City Edinburgh, sit back and enjoy the unique locations of the Royal Mile, starting at Edinburgh Castle and working our way down to Holyrood Palace, in-between seeing all the locations on the High Street going back hundreds of years, all with their own magical story to tell.

While in this area we have two fantastic locations for you to get some spectacular photos if the weather is good to us (Scotland I know), for this we have Arthur’s Seat and Calton Hill, we will visit one or both of these locations, for this we will get out the vehicle to catch the best spots for the perfect photos, but trust me the views going over to Fife and down to the East coast and over the city centre are breathtaking from both.

To finish of the morning tour of Edinburgh we will visit the New Town on the north of the city before we stop somewhere for some lunch before we head for our final destination for the day, this being the stunning Rosslyn Chapel, this 15th century building is architecture at its very best, here we will go on the guided tour that explains all the history of the Chapel, and listen to the story leading back to the apprentice pillar, take in all the true history behind all the stunning cryptic carvings that gave Dan Brown the inspiration of his book, The Da Vinci Code.

This is an 8 hour tour from your hotel in the Edinburgh city centre or surrounding area, you will be dropped back in at your agreed location. Entry fees are not included for this unless agreed before booking.
