On this day tour we’ll leave Edinburgh to visit Glamis Castle in the morning, and St Andrews the home of golf in the afternoon. But the first stop of the day will be South Queensferry, that sits on the outskirts of Edinburgh for a quick photo stop of the three bridges and a coffee stop before we head over the River the Firth of Forth into Fife.
Our next destination would be a tour of Glamis Castle, the childhood home of Queen Elizabeth, the Queen mother, where we’ll also have lunch in the cafe in the castle.
Once finished at Glamis we’ll head for St Andrews, famously known as the home of Golf, here we’ll have a panoramic tour of the town, before you have some free time to yourself with the options of visiting some of the historic landmarks, from St Andrews Cathedral or Castle, but with the chance to have a guided tour of the old course, this tour is at a set time of 14.00 for this, so booking in advance is advised.
Getting together again late afternoon we’ll head back south for Edinburgh with the option of going through some of the small unique fishing villages on the coastal route of Fife.
